阅读需要长期进行才行的。

我在此说点绝对的话——所有要参加雅思、托福、SAT、ACT或者GRE、GMAT考试的同学，要想在实战中考出阅读好成绩，必须早做准备，短期培训迅速提分都是扯淡。短期培训基本都是疯狂刷题，疯狂讲解，疯狂记单词，疯狂熬夜。这基本就是在催命。基础弱的同学，刷完所有历年真题，最终还是低分。即使考出高分，那也是你之前长期积累的结果，老师只是帮你点拨了一下答题技巧或者思路。

我们应该选择一条更自然更轻松的路。

想在SAT或者ACT中考出高分，建议大家至少提前一年开始培养阅读的好习惯（这不仅仅是为了考试，更为了以后语言能力以及思维能力的综合提升）。建议大家至少初三或者高一开始进行阅读习惯的培养（可能需要老师或者家长早点引导孩子们了，因此老师至关重要），每天30-60分钟阅读，必将大受裨益。至于阅读材料，可以选择合适的英语书籍或者文章，每天坚持读一点。材料丰富多彩，大家可以阅读各种题材的东西，新闻、小说、短篇故事、人物传记、历史文献等等。

在阅读过程中，手边要有一个专门积累词汇的小本子和笔，随时记录你想要学习的词汇或者短语，或者摘录一些你喜欢的句子或者片段。这些都是宝贵的语料，多多利用零散时间翻阅记忆，让它们内化在你的脑海里，未来会有大用。

在日常的阅读中，随着阅读能力的提升，大家会感受到：

刚开始只能懵懵懂懂了解表面信息，逐渐地能理解稍微深渡信息。最后达到一定高度的时候，对于整体文章结构以及细节都能做深度理解。

这些都需要长期积累语料，长期熟悉英语国家人的写作思路。

阅读其实就是在解读作者的思想。在解读别人思想的过程中，学习者的思想也在丰富，也在不断成长。

十几年的教学经历告诉我：
阅读和写作能力出色的同学下的都是平时功夫。在考前，经过老师的适当指导，这些学生很快会产生实战优势，最终在考场上斩获高分。
